Approval Policy

by timonto

Draft policy content. The one-year guideline is a general qualification standard that may be evaluated according to applicant and profile type. Review this policy before production publication.

Effective date: [Set before publication]

PediaPRO is a curated professional encyclopedia. Creating an account, paying for a plan, or submitting a profile does not guarantee approval, publication, recognition, or ranking. Every applicant follows the same approval process regardless of whether a profile is free or paid.

1. Eligibility

Applicants should demonstrate an established and genuine professional or business presence. Generally, applicants should have at least one year of verifiable activity, a legitimate identity, verifiable contact information, a public presence that can reasonably be verified, and relevant experience, education, credentials, achievements, awards, licenses, or documented work when applicable.

2. Information required

Applicants may be asked for a full name or legal business name, title or category, contact information, public professional presence, history, education, experience, achievements, credentials, and other information necessary to establish authenticity.

3. Verification and review

PediaPRO may review submitted information, publicly available information, websites, credentials, licenses, awards, achievements, reputation information, and other reliable sources, and may request additional information. Reviews, traffic, popularity, and follower counts are not automatic approval requirements.

4. Approval decision

After review, administrators may approve a profile, request more information, or decline the application. Approval permits publication according to the selected plan; it does not promise ongoing publication.

5. Approval is not guaranteed by payment

Payment provides access to eligible plan features. It does not purchase approval, recognition, credibility, or ranking status.

6. Reapplication

An applicant who is not approved may correct missing information, provide additional documentation, or reapply when qualification requirements are met.

7. Maintaining approval

Approval may be reviewed if information becomes inaccurate, circumstances change, or serious concerns arise. PediaPRO may suspend, restrict, or remove a profile when necessary to protect accuracy, integrity, and trust.

8. Recognition is separate

Profile approval does not automatically provide Good Standing, Trusted Advisor, or any ranking status. These are separate programs with their own requirements and explicit administrative review.

9. Equal standard

PediaPRO applies the same basic approval standards to all applicants. Approval is based on authenticity, established presence, relevant information, and overall credibility—not payment, invitation, popularity, or personal status.

10. Final administrative review

PediaPRO reserves the right to make the final profile-approval determination, subject to applicable law and published policies. The goal is a trusted encyclopedia of genuine people, businesses, and professionals—not an open directory where anyone can publish an unverified profile.
